Behind the scenes at the winter Sloafer shoot!
Just a few weeks ago I was thinking about the end of the summer; now I'm thinking about the end of Autumn. Last week we did our winter Sloafer shoot and I wanted to bring you some of my favourite looks and behind the scenes photos. I'm not a natural when it comes to posing so when my photographer shouts, "move your left foot left a little" - I always pause for a bit too long trying to work out exactly what that means I have to do. I'm better at designing the shoes than modelling them, but when you...
The return of the ballet pump? Please. They've never been away.
The return of the ballet pump? Kill me now - they've never been away. I got a whatsapp from a friend the other day "Lu! Ballet pumps are back! You should jump on this!" Jump on what though? One eagle eyed follower on Instagram DM’d me to ask why I wasn’t wearing Sloafers in a holiday photo I posted a few weeks ago. I was about to toboggan down a mountain with my three...
Nail the art of travelling light with Sloafer; your packing guide.
I'm going to the factory next week. Anyone who travels for business knows it’s not as luxurious as it sounds. Long days, short nights, and always more to do than there is time in the day. I can’t take much onto the flight by way of hand luggage so I have to be super mean about packing anything unnecessary. Wherever you are, you never use as much as you think. Admit it, you’re going to fall out of love with having to pin a dress to stay in place or having to wear nude underwear with a python like grip around...
