Returns and Processing Fees

 

We want you to love your Sloafers. If something isn’t right, email customerservice@sloafer.com and we’ll do our best to help. Before returning anything, please read this policy carefully; it’s important.


💬 Returns window

Our returns policy is strict: We do not accept returns after 14 days — no exceptions.  

  • Day 1 is the day we send you your returns label.


📦 Return labels

We provide one free returns label per order within the UK only, which covers the return of one pair of shoes only. If you’re returning more than one pair from the same order, any additional labels are your responsibility. If you're returning an order from outside the UK, Sloafer cannot cover the cost of this.


Condition of items

To be eligible for a refund, items must be:

  • Unworn

  • In original condition

  • In the original box

If items are returned in an unsuitable condition, we will not refund them. You will need to arrange collection or delivery from us to have your items returned to you. If you're unsure whether your items meet our return standards, please email us and include photos so we can advise.


📮 Packaging & responsibility

Please use secure, waterproof packaging. You’re responsible for the item until it reaches us, so we strongly recommend using a reputable courier and keeping proof of postage.


🛠️ Pre‑order & made‑to‑order items

These are non‑refundable once your order is placed, as production begins immediately.

If the size isn’t right, we’ll try to exchange it. If an exchange isn’t possible, we’ll issue a refund.

Sample Sale & Last‑Chance Items

Items purchased in our Sample Sale or Last Chance to Buy Collection are non‑refundable. If the item isn’t quite right, you may return it within 14 days of receiving it for a credit note, redeemable against any future purchase.

Purchases Made Using a Credit Note

If you return an item that was purchased using a credit note, only the cash amount (if any) paid on top of the credit note will be refunded. The credit‑note portion will be reissued as a new credit note.

 

PROCESSING FEES

 

🧍 Single‑item orders

  • No processing fee

  • Free returns label provided


👟 Two‑item orders

If you bought two sizes to try and are keeping one:

  • No processing fee

If you bought two different items:

  • A partial or full return incurs a £10 processing fee


📦 We do not permit orders of more than 2 pairs AT A TIME - but you can always come back!

As a small, independent brand, large multi‑pair orders that are later returned in full create a significant cost for us; from shipping and handling, to stock being tied up and unavailable for other customers. When this happens, it directly affects our ability to keep producing small‑batch, limited‑edition Sloafers.  

If you would like to ensure you don't miss out on our limited drops then please email customerservice@sloafer.com and indicate which Sloafers you have your eye on! I would rather take them out of stock for you to reserve them for a few days.
